In case you haven’t noticed, Facebook has its own URL shortener, which you can use.
It gives you a neat way to provide a link to your Facebook page on, for example, business cards or in an email signature. It looks like this:
Facebook have hooked up with the nice people from Montenegro (I assume their nice, I have no reason to think otherwise) to buy the fb.me domain. Montenegro’s country code is .me, in the same way that .uk is the country code for the UK.
You can see on the right side bar, if you look at this page’s short link, that WordPress are also using a .me domain ‘wp.me’ to shorten their links.
